Ruraí an Róbó
I'm currently working on a Robot named Ruraí in 3Ds Max, using Vray. He is still in the early stages of development but I plan on rigging him for animation and compositing him with video footage in After Effects using motion tracking. I will make a short video about an average day in his life around Brighton. I also plan on doing some Augmented Reality experiments with him.

Q-art
My exhibition piece is a series of QR (quick response) codes, each representing a project I’ve done this year. These codes contain my year’s work, while also acting as stand-alone pieces of work themselves. When each QR code is scanned with an iphone or smart phone, you are taken to the piece of work it represents online. If you do not have access to a QR code scanner, you can enjoy the aesthetics of the code as a work of art in itself.
I also modelled a cube in 3Ds Max, each face of the cube with a different QR code. I was hoping to print it using the university's 3D printer, but unfortunately I wasn't able to use it because the printing guys we're too busy with other projects and didn't have time before my assignment deadline.

YCN British Music Experience
A college assignment for which I received a YCN AWARD
My claim to fame, published in the Argus.
My original idea was to make an online promotional video for the BME website. As they want to educate people about the history of music in Britain I thought of making some sort of virtual pop up book showing the development of music in Britain through the different eras. I decided to make flyers, in the same style as the graphics from the pop-up book, to accompany the online video. These flyers could be left in tourist information points, hotel lobbies, cafes, bars and restaurants, which would help increase the number of tourists visiting the BME. On the back of each A6 flyer would be a marker for an “Augmented Reality” experience. The BME have an “Interactive Gibson Studio”, giving visitors the opportunity to play various guitars from the Gibson family. I thought about making an AR online experience, where the user can play a virtual 3D guitar, and get a taste of the British Music Experience.

Beyond Earth - Augmented Reality Textbook
An augmented reality textbook prototype, which I made for the "interactive brief" in uni.
This is the best AR tutorial that I have found so far.
Demo video with AS3 in the background (It's best to view it in full screen so you can actually see what's going on!)
Demo video in fullscreen without the action script in the background.

Sainthood Platform Game Prototype
A rough prototype of "Sainthood" a game I made as part of a college assignment. There are still a few glitches but I'm working on them.
Level one: Tegan - collect the halos and avoid pies to achieve "sainthood".
Level two: Sara - Fly around and collect the halos as they appear at random. Level two is still under construction.
